Project Scope: The proposed system consists of a Multifeeder Technology MFT 750 IP3 SLD Industrial Performance Friction Feeder system to present poster boards onto an existing transport conveyor at a rate of up to 50 per minute. The MFT 750 IP3 feeder will gently separate your products from a vertical stack of the in feed hopper of the feeder and will transport them individually onto the 900mm (35.43) long discharge of the feeder. The feeder will feed the base products into the pinch point of a customer supplied pressure roller assembly onto the conveyor. Siko counter adjustment know will be included to provide a numeric readout for the feeder stripper wheel and discharge belt adjustment to allow for a repeatable set up. The MFT 750 IP3 will be mounted onto a HDSR 1000-750 Heavy Duty Stand on Rollers for height adjustment and mobility. The feeder will be configured with Continuous Motion Accutipping Repeat Controls consisting of an encoder with wheel mounted on your base machine to monitor its speed. As the speed of the base machine changes, the computer timing compensation package will vary the speed and timing of the feeder to ensure that the backer cards are placed with consistent repeat regardless of the speed of the base machine. This proposal assumes that the customer will install, and integrate the feeder with the existing transport conveyor. Multifeeder can provide installation, and integration services as an option at our standard rates. Options Available: Optional Left and Right Discharge Side Guides can be used to register the products side to side as they travel on the discharge of the feeder. Optional Vacuum Track Assemblies each consisting of a vacuum chamber and a feed belt with holes that travels over the chamber can be used to allow the feeder to best grip the products as they are fed. Other options include a Spare Parts Kit, a Low Product Detect Sensor Assembly, and Standard Feeder installation.
