Project Scope: The proposed system consists of a Multifeeder Technology MFT 250 IP3 Industrial Performance Friction Feeder system to feed verified folded leaflets into the in feed of a cartoning machine at a rate of up to 25 per minute. A Multifeeder Technology MFT 250 IP3 Friction Feeder will gently separate your folded leaflets from a vertical stack of the in feed hopper of the feeder and will transport them individually onto the 375mm (14.76") long discharge of the feeder. A Multifeeder supplied and integrated Bar Code verification system will scan the bar codes on the products as they travel on the travel on the feeder discharge. If a "No Read" or a "Bad Read" occurs the bar code reader system will signal the feeder to stop and declare a fault. The feeder will be signaled to feed and will provide feeder status via a Standard Interface Cable Assembly. The leaflets will be fed into the in feed of a cartoning machine at a rate of up to 25 per minute. An additional Interface Cable will be provided to Corium to allow its PLC to communicate with the bar code reader. 1. The PLC can provide a dry contact to the bar code reader for the teach function. 2. The PLC will receive a good read signal and a mismatch signal. This proposal assumes that the customer will mount, install, and integrate the feeder with the cartoning machine. Multifeeder can provide mounting, installation, and integration services as an option at our standard rates. Options Available: The MFT 250 IP3 can be mounted onto an optional HDSR 1000-250 Heavy Duty Stand on Rollers for height adjustment and mobility. Other options include a Low Product Sensor Assembly, a spare parts kit, and standard feeder installation.

Corium coming on 3/2 for FAT. 2/6: Samples received. Gave to EE for barcode reading. In production. 1/30: Got them all DWG files they needed. Waiting turn in queue. 1/23: Shipping in samples.
