Project Scope: This proposal consists of a Multifeeder Technology MFT 350 IP3 XED Friction Feeder to present carton blanks onto a customer supplied and integrated conveyor at a rate of up to 120 per minute. A Multifeeder Technology MFT 350 IP3 Friction Feeder will gently separate your carton blanks from an inclined stack of the feeder and will transfer them one at a time onto the 375mm (14.86") long discharge of the feeder. A Vacuum Track Assembly consisting of a vacuum chamber and a feed belt with holes that travel over the chamber will be used to best grip the products as they are fed (house vacuum supply). A Heavy Duty Rear Support Assembly will be used to support the stack from the back as they products are fed. A pneumatic shaker will be mounted on the rear support assembly of the feeder to assist with product flow. The MFT 350 IP3 feeder will be set in demo mode to feed the carton blanks at a user selected rate per minute onto an existing transport to be labeled by a customer supplied and integrated labeling machine. The customer is responsible for static control. The feeder will be mounted onto a HDSR 1000-350 Heavy Duty Stand on Rollers for height adjustment and mobility. This proposal assumes that the customer will mount, install, and integrate the feeder with the existing transport. Multifeeder can provide mounting, installation, and integration services as an option at our standard rates. The feeder can be configured with optional Backer Repeat Mode consisting of an encoder mounted onto your base conveyor to monitor its speed. As the speed of the base machine changes, the computer timing compensation package will vary the speed and timing of the feeder to ensure that the cartons are placed on the base conveyor with consistent repeat regardless of the speed of the base machine. Other Options Available: A Multifeeder supplied static bar can be purchased to reduce static on the products as they travel on the discharge of the feeder. Other options include a Spare Parts Kit, a Low Product Detect Sensor Assembly, and Standard Feeder installation.
