Project Scope: The proposed system consists of two Multifeeder Technology Friction Feeder systems to present Tyvek sheets horizontally into a customer supplied and integrated catch tray for robot pick up in a class 7 clean room at a rate of up to 1 per minute. This proposal is contingent upon a successful test of a stack of customer supplied samples. Each MFT 350 IP3 Industrial Performance Friction Feeder will gently separate your Tyvek products from a vertical stack and will transport them individually onto the 375mm (14.76") long discharge of the feeder. A Vacuum Track Assembly consisting of vacuum chamber and a feed belt with holes that travels over the chamber will be used to best grip the products as they are fed. A Heavy Duty Rear Support Assembly will be used to support the stack from the back as they are fed. A Pneumatic Shaker will be mounted to the rear support assembly of the feeder to assist with product flow. The Tyvek sheets will be transferred into a customer supplied and integrated Catch Tray for robot pick up. A vacuum pump (Venturi Style) is included that can be plumbed outside the room to meet your clean 7 clean room requirement. Each feeder will be signaled to feed and will provide back feeder status via a Standard Interface Cable Assembly. The customer will tilt each feeder back 15 degrees to allow each feeder to feed the sheets horizontally. A Multifeeder supplied Static Reduction Bar will be used to reduce static on the sheets as they travel on the discharge of the feeder. Multifeeder's Engineering team will create a system drawing for customer approval. System Integration includes a Factory Acceptance Test to confirm system performance before shipment. System Integration and testing includes testing of all individual pieces to perform as one complete system. Integration also includes testing of the feeding performance of each product size at the rate specified. This proposal includes testing the smallest and largest product sizes for a Factory Acceptance Test. This proposal assumes that customer will install and integrate the feeder systems. Multifeeder can provide installation, and integration services as an option at our standard rates. Customer is responsible for static control.
