Project Scope: The proposed system consists of a MFT IP 350XED HCP Industrial Performance Friction Feeder which will separate and feed your products from a stack in the in feed hopper of the feeder. As the products are fed they will be placed onto the VTC 2000-550 2 meter Vacuum Track Conveyor where the product will be held in position using a vacuum source. As the product transfers down the conveyor hot melt glue will be applied, to the top surface of the product. The glued product will then travel beneath the second MFT IP 350XED HCP Industrial Performance Friction Feeder where the top product will be tipped on. The second feeder will use the Continuous Accutipping Controller with encoder feedback to accurately place the product onto the passing base product. This feeder will also be equipped with a pressure roller which will aid the transfer of your product from the feeder to the base product. Finished products will be collected by Royle Printing as they exist the VTC. The feeders, each, will be equipped with a 2 meter long Automatic Product Loader for increased loading capacity. The APL will enter in over the mechanical side of the feeder. The I/O card will send the a fault signal when a multiple product, over length or mis-feed fault occurs. Royle Printing will provide the timing of the signal to activate the reject with that product.
Notes: Royle Printing W.O. 2019128 11/21: They have video of first product set complete. Working on 2nd product set. Goal to have complete today. 11/14: No update 11/7: Working on the machine in Integration. Should have video filmed by next Thursday. Sent installation quote yesterday. 10/31: VTC in electrical being wired. Integration will start early next week after Nosco. 10/24: Issue with one of the three VTC belts. Waiting for new VTC belts to come in. VTC built as far as it can. APLs and feeder done. 10/17: APLs and base feeder done. Starting tipping feeder and VTC today. Trying to have to Integration by Wednesday of next week. 10/10: In queue after Maricann, Phillips and Iwai. 10/3: No change. Parts continuing to arrive. 9/26: No change 9/19: No change 9/12: Parts beginning to arrive. In queue behind Maricann and Phillips Medisize. 9/5: Everything on order. 8/29: Quoting parts. 8/22: Received last item from ME yesterday. Processing in procurement and quoting parts. 8/15: Layout is approved. Kicked off to procurement on Tuesday. Still need one item from ME. 8/8: Layout sent to customer this morning. Once approved Clay will schedule kick-off to Procurement. 8/1: No change. 7/25: Next in ME queue. 7/18: Start in ME in approximately 1 week. 7/11: Kicked off to engineering yesterday. In ME queue.
