Project Scope: The proposed system consists of a Multifeeder MFT 350 V3 XED Signatures Series Friction Feeder to tip products onto backer cards traveling on an existing transport conveyor at a rate of up to machine at a rate of up to 100 per minute (with a requested accuracy of +/- 1/4"). Base products will travel on your existing transport at a rate of up to 100 per minute. The Multifeeder MFT 350 V3 XED Friction Feeder will be straddle mounted over the transport conveyor by the customer. The MFT 350 V3 will gently separate your products from an inclined stack and will transfer them one at a time onto the 375mm (14.86") extended discharge of the feeder. The feeder will be signaled to tip a product onto the base carrier (no glue) by a Photo Optic Start Sensor Assembly. The feeder will be configured with EZ Accutipping consisting of an encoder with wheel mounted on your base machine to monitor its speed. As the speed of the base machine changes, the computer timing compensation package will vary the speed and timing of the feeder to ensure that the label is placed accurately regardless of the speed of the base machine. This proposal assumes that customer will mount, install, and integrate the feeder with the existing transport conveyor. Multifeeder can provide mounting, integration, installation service as an option at our standard rates. Option Available: The MFT 350 V3 can be configured with Batch Count Mode and/or Multiple Product Detection (double detection) as an option. An optional Multifeeder supplied straddle mount assembly can be used to mount the feeder over the existing transport conveyor. An optional Electronic Interface Box can be used to signal the transport conveyor to stop if the feeder runs empty or has a fault. Other options include a Static Reduction Bar, a Spare Parts Kit, a Low Product Detect Sensor Assembly, and Standard Feeder installation.
