Project Scope: The proposed system consists of a Multifeeder Technology MFT 250 IP3 XED Industrial Performance Friction Feeder system to feed and verify pharmaceutical leaflets at a rate of up to 200 per minute. The MFT 250 feeder will gently separate your products from a vertical stack and will transport them individually onto the 375mm (14.76") long discharge of the feeder. A Bar Code verification system will scan the bar codes (1D and 2D) on the products as they travel on the feeder discharge. If a "No Read" or a "Bad Read" occurs the bar code reader system will signal the feeder to stop and declare a fault. An operator can next clear the product and reset the system. The feeder will be set in the demo mode to provide a set number of verified leaflets per minute into a customer supplied tote for further processing. The MFT 250 can be mounted onto an optional HDSR 1000-250 Heavy Duty Stand On Rollers for height adjustment and mobility. Options Available: Options include a Low Product Sensor Assembly, a spare parts kit, and standard feeder installation.
Notes: Praxis WO 2019105 8/1: FAT video sent yesterday. Steve wrapping up documentation today and then to QA this afternoon. 7/25: Being worked on in Integration. Should have FAT video complete by end of day tomorrow at latest. 7/18: Feeder and barcode reader complete from wiring standpoint. In integration in queue. 7/11: Feeder built and in electrical for barcode reader installation. 6/27: Received change order and PO. Will need to process and pull new components. 6/20: Met on Monday. Clay put together a change order quote. Waiting for it to be approved and then will send to Nick for approval. Otherwise paused until we have a go or no go on change order. 6/13: Pulled for production. On hold until we have a meeting on Monday (Mark and Peter to be present) Samples came in and need to discuss. 6/6: Processed and quoting parts. 5/29: OA Doc sent yesterday noting need for payment and samples before order is considered active.
