Project Scope: The proposed system consists of three (3) HWD 600 Hygienic Wash Down Feeder systems to feed Pizza Rounds into your existing flighted conveyor perpendicular to flow at a rate of up to 40 per minute. Each HWD 600 Hygienic Wash Down Feeder will gently separate your products from an inclined stack in the in feed magazine of the feeder. The products will be transferred one at time onto the 375mm (14.76") discharge of the feeder. A Heavy Duty Rear Support Assembly will be used to support the stack from the back as they are fed. A Hygienic APL 490- 2 meter Automatic Product Loader (perpendicular to flow) will be used for additional loading capacity and to allow for an optimum stack height in the in feed magazine of the feeder. Looking at the back of the feeder the Automatic Product Loader will be positioned to the left of the feeder. Each feeder will be mounted onto a Heavy Duty Stand on Rollers for mobility and each Automatic Product Loader will be secured to the feeder stand with removable pins. Each MFT 600 will be signaled to feed and will provide feeder status via a Standard Interface Cable Assembly (150ft long). Estimated feed dispense height is 32" and lug spacing is estimated to be 20". Each HWD 600 Hygienic Wash Down Feeder uses 304 stainless steel and is designed to be IP 66 or better, meeting NEMA4X Standard. The feeder has a self-contained computer controller for precise product placement with on board panel and is powered by a 1200 watt wash-down brushless servo motor. The open design allows for minimal disassembly with easy cleaning and maintenance to provide minimal contamination points. This proposal assumes that the customer will mount, install, and integrate the feeders with the existing conveyor. As an option Multifeeder can provide mounting, installation, and integration services as an option. Options Available: Options include Hygienic remote keypad assembly, Spare Parts Kit, a Low Product Detect Sensor Assembly, and Standard Feeder installation.
Notes: R & R Design and Manufacturing W.O.2018205 5/23: Schwan's here for FAT today. 5/16: Shipped one feeder and stand on Tuesday. Outstanding parts for APL are due today. Schwan's is visiting tomorrow to see feeder. FAT tentatively scheduled for 5/23 pending inspection approval of incoming parts. 5/9: Clay emailed Jerry at Schwan's and Ralph at R&R. Parts delayed. Haven't heard response back. Feeders would be ready for FAT on 5/15 but not APLs. 5/2: Issues in inspection with welded parts for APL framework. Going back to ACME to see how quick they can turn around. Will move forward with production on remaining parts. Discussing FAT for 5/16. Need more info on parts to see if we need to delay FAT. 4/25: Received repaired cases from Oakdale Precision (all good). Also received large amount of parts for stands and APLs. Inspection working to process all these parts now, but they are very swamped, Vic helping. Production is beginning the build of the 3 - 600HWD Feeders 4/18: Still waiting for oakdale precision to return repaired feeder cases. Clay ping'd them this morning. Procurement will begin picking this job as parts clear inspection over the next few days. 4/11: Oakdale Precision correcting feeder cases. Welding repair is fixed, need to be re-electro polished. Schwan's and R&R asking for FAT date. 4/4: Feeder cases came in with pinhole issues. Working through that, remaining order waiting on parts. 3/28: No change. 3/21: Explained situation to Ralph. Haven't heard back. 3/14: Clay trying to get a hold of Ralph at R&R. 3/7: Jerry doesn't like lead time. Falls within our quoted lead time. Clay to respond to Jerry's email. 2/28: All parts on order. Some parts have slipped. 2/21: Procurement ordering parts. 2/13/19 Set representative commission to zero. 2/7: Need to reach out regarding APLs and whether we can deliver at the price that was quoted to them. After we receive quotes reach out to customer regarding pricing. 1/31: Sent final layout drawing. Waiting for signed approval. Ready for release to procurement on Monday. 1/24: ME release to procurement estimated for 2/1. 1/10: Met internally regarding clients discharge height request of 32 inches. Ed will look into what we can do with existing design. Should have answer no later than Monday. 1/3: Kicked off yesterday (Engineering kick off). Need to get approval/input on discharge height from client. 12/20: Processing parts for internal shop. Need to schedule kick off meeting. 12/13: Still waiting for layout drawing approval. Received payment. Need to schedule kick off meeting. 12/6: Layout drawing request to engineering. Ed to resend to Mark and Mark will send to customer for approval.
