Project Scope: The proposed system consists of a Multifeeder Technology MFT 250 IP3 XED (14.76" discharge) Industrial Performance Friction Feeder, with the High Performance upgrade, to deliver CR80 type cards onto your existing card line at a rate of up to 400 per minute. MFT 250 Friction Feeder will gently separate your products up to 200mm wide from a vertical stack of the in feed hopper of the feeder. As the products are fed, they will be transported individually through the 375mm long discharge of the feeder. Left and Right Discharge Side Guides with 250mm long shafts to hold the guides will be used to ensure that the product is straight as it is fed. Each feeder will also be equipped with the latest version of Card Line Software to allow each feeder to be controlled via the serial port. A plug is included to allow for wiring their encoder to the MFT 250 IP3 Friction feeder. As the speed of the base machine changes the card line software package varies the speed and timing of the feeder to ensure that the CR 80 card is placed accurately regardless of the speed of the base machine. Options Available: Each MFT 250 feeder can be equipped with an optional APL 2000-190 Automatic Product Loader for increased in feed magazine capacity. The loader can be configured with a Low Product Detect Sensor signal the APL to replenish the stack and a sets of two adjustable legs to make a complete roll away package. Also, to assist with the feeding of difficult products, additional items that provide for better performance include: Air Injection Assembly, Pneumatic Shaker Assembly, Low Product Semsor Assembly, Stack-light Assembly, and a spare parts kit. The vacuum track assembly consisting of a vacuum chamber and a feed belt with holes that travels over the chamber to allow the feeder to better grip the products as they are fed. An optional Remote Keypad Assembly can be used to allow the controls of the feeder to be located in the optimum position. Note that Multifeeder Technology can provide expected performance results with testing of your sample product. These can be validated, documented and supported with video. This process demonstrates and confirms what can be achieved through proper set-up, optimal conditions and attentive operator directives. We may employ some of the above options, to gain the desired results.
