Project Scope: The proposed system consists of four Multifeeder Technology MFT 550 IP3 WD XED Industrial Performance Series Wash Down Friction Feeder systems to feed slip sheets onto a customer-supplied and integrated tray for robot pick up at a rate of up to 60 per minute. Each MFT 550 Friction Feeder will gently separate the chipboard sheets from an inclined stack in the in feed magazine of the feeder. A HD 425 Heavy Duty Rear Support Assembly will be used to support the stack of product from the rear as they are fed. The sheets will be transferred one at time onto the 375mm (14.76") discharge of the feeder. Each feeder will be signaled to feed a sheets onto a customer supplied and integrate tray and will provide back feeder status using a 10m (33ft) Standard Interface Cable Assembly. Each feeder will be equipped with Stainless steel cases, hex head fasteners, connectors, a wash down motor, and cables to accommodate wash down. The MFT 550 WD Friction feeder uses case inside of a case design to allow for cleaning with water, steam, chemicals, or a mixture of them. Also included is a Stack light Assembly for machine status at a glance as well as a Low Product Detect Sensor Assembly. This proposal assumes that the customer will mount, install, and integrate the feeders with the existing conveyor. As an option Multifeeder can provide mounting, installation, and integration services as an option. Options available: Other options include a Spare Parts Kit and Standard Feeder Installation.
Notes: JLS Automation WO 2018151 11/29: Case doors came in yesterday. Everything is now on the feeders. Crate arrived this morning. 11/15: Production working on 3rd feeder. Control boxes should be done this week. 11/8: Production started assembling feeders. Electrical has begun wiring boxes. EE at stopping point until client clarifies what they want to do with cable length. (customer wants longer cables) 11/1: Waiting for passivation to come back. Still waiting on some external parts. 10/25: Parts out for passivation. Still waiting on some external parts. 10/18: in queue in procurement for passivation 10/11: No change. Working with client to get samples sent by 11/2. 10/4: No change. 9/27: Fully processed. Parts on order 9/20: Samples due 9/30 from client. 9/13: All parts on order 9/6: No change 8/30: Released to procurement and being processed. 8/23: Waiting for Mark to finish excel workorder.
