Project Scope: The proposed system consists of a Multifeeder Technology MFT 250 IP3 ED Industrial Performance Friction Feeder system to tip CR 80 Cards and other products up to 200mm (7.87") wide onto base products traveling on a Moll Folder Gluer machine at a rate of up to 300 per minute. The MFT 350 feeder will gently separate your products from a vertical stack of the in feed hopper of the feeder. As the products are fed, they will be transported individually through the 200mm (7.87") long discharge of the feeder. The feeder will be equipped with 50% gearing to allow the discharge belt to travel 50% faster the feed belts to provide additional spacing between the products on the discharge as they are fed. To feed the tattoos the feeder will be configured with top and bottom bridge belts as well as a 10mm wide feed belt and sides guides that have the bottom lips removed to accommodate the small product. In addition the feeder will be equipped so it can feed products up to 200mm (7.87") wide. The Moll machine will feed a base product, a glue machine shall apply glue to the base product, and the MFT 250 IP3 ED Friction Feeder will be signaled to feed a product onto the spot glued surface of the product traveling below by a Photo Optic Start Sensor Assembly. The MFT 250 IP will feed the tip on product into the pinch point of a top belt assembly on the Moll machine to assure a positive transfer from the feeder onto the base product traveling below. The feeder will be configured with Continuous Motion Accutipping consisting of an encoder with wheel mounted on your base machine to monitor the its speed. As the speed of the base machine changes, the computer timing compensation package will vary the speed and timing of the feeder to ensure that the tip on insert is placed accurately regardless of the speed of the base machine. This proposal assumes that Moll will mount, install, and integrate the feeder with the Moll folder gluer machine. Multifeeder can provide mounting, installation, and integration services as an option at our standard rates. Options Available: As a option the change parts for running tattoos can be purchased for an existing machine including the following: 1. 1 x Change Parts for Tattoo Product. 2. 2 x O-Ring Bridge Belts. 3. 10mm Wide Stripper Wheel. 4. 10mm wide Feed Belt. 5. 10mm wide Feed Belt Drive Pulley. 6. 10mm wide Feed Belt Spanning pulley. 7. 25mm Rear Support Assembly. An optional Electronic Interface Box Assembly will be used to signal the Moll machine to stop if the feeder runs empty or has a fault. Other options include a Signal Light Assembly, a Spare Parts Kit, a Low Product Detect Sensor Assembly, and Standard Feeder installation.
