Project Scope: The proposed system consists of a Multifeeder Technology MFT 250 IP3 Industrial Performance Friction Feeder system to present empty seed packet pouches to be printed by a customer supplied and integrated Video Jet 1220 Print system. The feeder will be equipped with dual vacuum track assemblies each consisting of a vacuum chamber and a feed belt with holes that travels over the chamber (house vacuum supply). In addition 100% gearing will be used to allow the discharge of the feeder to travel 100% faster than the feed belt section to help separate the products as they are feed. Batch Count and Double Detection are standard features on a MFT 250 IP3 Industrial Performance Series Friction Feeder. The Multifeeder Technology MFT 250 IP3 Friction Feeder will gently separate your seed packet pouches from an inclined stack and will transfer them one at a time onto the 375mm (14.76") long discharge of the feeder. A customer supplied and integrated Video Jet 1220 Ink Jet Print system will be mounted over the feeder discharge by the customer to print a lot code and a date code onto the pouches as they travel on the discharge of the feeder. The feeder will be signaled to feed using the feeder's demo mode. The printed pouches will be transferred into a customer supplied tote for further processing. The feeder can be mounted onto an optional HDSR 1000-250 Stand on Rollers for height adjustment and mobility. This proposal assumes that customer will install and integrate the feeder. Multifeeder can provide installation, and integration services as an option at our standard rates. For an order of two or more systems on the same purchase order an additional 3% discount will apply. Options available: Application # 2 (Feeding seed pouches to be heat sealed at a later late) The Multifeeder Technology MFT 250 IP3 Friction Feeder will gently separate your seed packet pouches from an inclined stack and will transfer them one at a time onto the 375mm (14.76") long discharge of the feeder. The feeder will feed the pouches into your existing heat seal machine one at a time using backer repeat controls. An encoder will be mounted onto the heat seal machine to monitor its speed. The feeder will present the pouches into the heat seal machine at the same speed as the heat seal machine with consistent repeat. Multifeeder can supply mounting hardware as an option for the Video Jet 1220 Print Head. An optional Static Reduction Bar can be used to reduce static on the products as they are fed. Other options include a Spare Parts Kit, a Low Product Detect Sensor Assembly, and Standard Feeder installation.
