Project Scope: The revised proposed system consists of a Multifeeder Technology 1300 Dual Stage Precision Tipping System to precisely tip your leaflets up to (11-1/2" wide) onto the web of your existing 13" Wide Delta Flexo Machine (system flow right to left). The system will be covered by a 2 year/2000 hour warranty. The Multifeeder Dual Stage Tipping system will be straddle mounted onto your existing Delta Flexo machine on a welded frame for solid support with fast, screw actuators for accurate adjustments. The first stage of the system consists of Multifeeder Technology MFT 350 IP HCP Industrial Performance friction feeder that will gently separate products from an inclined stack of the in feed magazine of the feeder. A Vacuum Tracks consisting of a vacuum chamber and a feed belt with holes that travels over the chamber will be used to allow the feeder to best grip the products as they are fed. The products will be transported one at a time onto the 375mm (14.81") long discharge of the feeder. A Pneumatic Shaker will be used to help register the products in the in feed magazine of the feeder prior to being fed. Next the products will be transferred onto the second stage of the system using Continuous Accutipping controls with encoder feed back to match the lug spacing of the second stage. Once the products has been transferred into the MFT 350 LDD section the product will be squared to the front edge (lead edge registration) of the product using bottom lugs traveling in front of the products as they travel on the second section. The lugged section of the discharge will next transfer the product onto the web using top hard carcass discharge belts to maintain precise and gentle control of the product. The LDD section will be signaled to feed the product onto the web of the Flexo machine by a laser sensor. The lugged section will be equipped with Continuous Accutipping Controls with encoder feed back to do the final micro adjustments of the placement of the products onto your web. As the product transfers onto your web the feeder will maintain full top and bottom control of the product to ensure a square and accurate transfer to your web. The system will be mounted onto a base frame with linear slides and crank adjustments. The system will be equipped with a series of digital and analog height adjustment scales to provide a repeatable and accurate setup. Change parts including side guides and two additional sets of lugged belts are included to accommodate the range of products specified. In addition, a remote keypads will be included to control the feeder. The control box for the driven discharge will be mounted on the operator side of system. Multifeeder's Engineering team will create a system drawing for customer approval. System Integration includes a video Factory Acceptance Test to verify system performance before shipment. System Integration and testing includes testing of all individual pieces to perform as one complete system. Integration also includes testing of the feeding performance of each product size at the rate specified. The system will be crated and shipped via insured freight (prepay and add paid for by the customer) so the risk of loss or damage to the system passes to buyer at the time of delivery to the buyer's facility. An Automatic Product Loader APL 1000-290 (1000mm x 290mm) perpendicular to flow can be added to allow for an optimum stack height in the in feed magazine of the feeder and for increased in feed magazine capacity. Other options include a Spare Parts Kit, a Low Product Detect Sensor Assembly, and Start up Assistance and training.
Notes: Dion Label Printing WO 2018065 10/11: Packing today. Will ship tomorrow at the latest. 10/4: Bob working on mounting sub frame components to 1300 frame. Should be done today. Clay will then send pictures to the client. Client can approve after viewing pictures. 9/27: Goal to ship by end of next week. Did not get video done for customer approval yesterday. 9/20: Bob starting integration today. FAT video - goal to have by Wed. of next week. Will need quick approval and payment to ship by 9/28 9/13: Waiting for Bob's attention after 1300 show equipment. Goal is to have FAT video complete by 9/21 9/6: Reviewed with Bob yesterday. Will start and split time between this and 1300 show machine. 8/30: Estimated video FAT end of September. No change. Waiting on Bob to return from Label Innovations. 8/23: Machine moved to Integration. Idle rollers only items waiting on. 8/16: Machine is built. Doing some mods. Making a few new brackets. Waiting on idle rollers. Hope to arrive tomorrow. 8/9: APL is complete in production. Feeder and driven discharge are currently being worked on. Waiting on idle rollers for sub frame. 8/2: Pulled order. 7/26: No change. Waiting on parts. 7/19: Re-processed in procurement (not using existing feeder anymore). 7/12: Everything is on order. 2" idle rollers are longest lead time. Due first week of September 6/21: Received down payment for change order. ME working through design. Kick off scheduled for Monday. 6/19: Update work order to include change order for UPGRADE TO 1125 SUB FRAME FOR 13" WEB, WITH (6) 2" IDLER ROLLERS at $ 11,800.00 6/14: Received all signed documentation for change order. Ready for kick off Tuesday. 6/6: Verbal yesterday that they are ok with layout drawing and proposed change order. Need revised PO and down payment on change order and signed copy of change order. Clay will follow up tomorrow. 5/31: Mark N. sent change order proposal this morning. Clay will follow up mid-day. 5/24: Call this afternoon to discuss layout drawing and proposed change order pricing. 5/17: Communicated change order pricing and provided an updated layout. Waiting for feedback. 5/10: Meeting this afternoon to discuss change order pricing for additional framework. Customer aware of CO. Will also send layout drawing. 5/3: In Engineering. Received more information from customer. 4/26: Good call with client yesterday. Possibility of change order for needed stand. MFT engineers waiting on action items from Dion. 4/19: In Engineering. Working on layout drawing. 4/12: Waiting for their base to determine how we are mounting. ON HOLD WAITING FOR INFORMATION. Richard will call Mark N. 4/5: Kicked off and waiting for CAD drawing and engineering samples from client. Mark emailed client asking for both. 3/29: Just received down payment. Kick off scheduled for tomorrow. Use old design due to tight lead time.
