Project Scope: The proposed system consists of a Multifeeder Technology MFT 350 V3 XED Signature Series Friction Feeder system to present products onto a customer supplied and integrated vacuum transport conveyor with consistent repeat at a rate of up to 150 per minute. The MFT 350 Friction feeder will gently separate your products from a vertical stack and will transported them individually onto the 375mm (14.86") long discharge of the feeder. Left and Right Discharge Guides will be used to register the product side to side as they travel on the discharge of the feeder and are transferred onto the conveyor with consistent repeat. The feeder will be configured with 175mm Magazine Side Plates (Standard) as per your request. The feeder will be configured with Backer Repeat Mode consisting of an encoder with wheel mounted on your base machine to monitor the speed of the base machine. As the speed of the base machine changes, the computer timing compensation package will vary the speed and timing of the feeder to ensure that the paper sheet is placed accurately on the transport regardless of the speed of the base machine. This proposal assumes that the customer will mount, install, and integrate the feeder with the existing vacuum transport conveyor. Multifeeder can provide mounting, integration, installation services as an option at our standard rates. Options Available: The feeder can be configured with an optional stack light, an optional Heavy Duty Rear Support Assembly. The feeder can be configured with Batch Count Mode as an option. An optional Vacuum Track Assembly consisting of a vacuum chamber and a feed belt with holes that travels over the chamber can be used to best grip the products as they are fed. Other options include a Spare Parts Kit, a Low Product Detect Sensor Assembly, and Standard Feeder Installation.
