Project Scope: The proposed system is for a friction feeding and verification system. The system would use an MFT IP 350XED Industrial Performance Friction Feeder which will separate and feed your products from a stack in the in feed hopper of the feeder. As the products are transported through the discharge of the feeder they will be verified to ensure there are no double products through double and length detection (product testing required for double detection to ensure it fits the standard sensor capablity) and they will be scanned with a barcode reader to ensure the barcode code matches a preset value. If an incorrect code is detected the system will stop on error for an operator to remove the bad product and resume operation. Good products will be collected into batches on the SC 2000-350 Shingling Conveyor.
