Project Scope: The proposed system consists of a Multifeeder Technology MFT 550 IP3 SLD Industrial Performance Friction Feeder to present Tyvek sheets to be printed with a lot code and a date code by a customer supplied and integrated Bell-Mark thermal transfer printer at an estimated rate of 50 per minute. The MFT 550 IP3 will gently separate Tyvek Sheets from a vertical stack and will transfer them individually onto the 900mm (35.43") vacuum discharge of the feeder. A Vacuum Track Assembly consisting of a vacuum chamber and a feed belt with holes that travels over the chamber will be used to best grip the products as they are fed. A Heavy Duty on the discharge of the feeder. A customer supplied and integrated Bell-Mark thermal transfer printer will be mounted over the discharge of the feeder Rear Support Assembly will be used to support the stack from the back as the products are fed. A Static Reduction Bar will be positioned over the discharge of the feeder before the printer to reduce static on the Tyvek sheets as they travel to print a lot code and a date code onto the sheets as they travel on the discharge of the feeder. A thermal transfer support roller will support the products from the bottom as they are printed to allow the print to be best transferred onto the Tyvek Sheets traveling below. A second Static Reduction Bar will be positioned over the end of the discharge conveyor to reduce static on the sheets as they are transferred from the feeder onto the Catch Plate with magnetic side guides where they will be stacked an accumulated to be removed manually by an operator. The feeder system will be mounted onto a welded frame on rollers with a .97 kW Vacuum Blower Pump included with the system. Multifeeder's Engineering team will create a system drawing for customer approval. System Integration and testing includes testing of all individual pieces to perform as one complete system. Integration also includes testing of the feeding performance of each product size at the rate specified. A Factory Acceptance Test with customer supplied samples will be done to verify system performance prior to shipment. This proposal assumes that the customer will install and integrate the system at their facility. Multifeeder can provide installation and integration assistance as an option at our standard rates. Options available: Other options include a Spare Parts Kit, a Low Product Detect Sensor Assembly, and Standard Feeder Installation.

Mfg is fixing and should have back tomorrow morning. Will then move to Integration Monday morning. 4/12: Frame in. Waiting on last few parts to arrive. 4/5: Pulled everything that has been received. Frame came in today. Waiting on parts for vacuum discharge. 3/29: Everything on order. Waiting on parts. 3/22: Shaft on order through MFT shop. Everything now on order. 3/15: Still working on roller with vendor. Vic has material to make one. 3/8: Waiting for info from vendor on roller. Getting no quotes. 3/1: In procurement. Waiting for responses on quotes. 2/22: In procurement. Quoting parts. 2/15: Kick off tomorrow morning. 2/8: Joel started today. Clay will call to verify mount and who is providing. 2/1: Waiting for approval on equipment and belt drawing from client. 1/25: ME has provided a revised belt drawing. Need sign off on equipment and belt drawing. 1/18: Call with customer yesterday (Richard and Clay) Clay has follow up call this afternoon. 1/11: Provided updated design layout with updated proposal to client yesterday. Waiting for client to specify time for conference call. 1/5: Call with customer yesterday. Changing directions on design of equipment. Gathering all possible samples. Both have action items. Will start a revised proposal after. 12/7: Will be kicked off tomorrow. Potentially use show machine and swap feeders.
