Project Scope: The proposed system is for a collating line to collate up to 6 different products in sequence. The system will begin with the first MFT IP 350ED Industrial Performance Friction Feeder separating and feeding a heart onto the conveyor. This first feeder will use an encoder based Accutipping Repeat controller to set the pitch of the line. Each following MFT IP 350ED Industrial Performance Friction Feeder will trigger off the first heart and place in a shingled fashion. The collated stacks will be collected in a catch tray. Once a fill level sensor detects the height of the batch is at it's maximum height the system will pause until an operator removes the batch which will automatically begin collating once removed. Confirmed by Jim: 4" stack height for all product sizes.
Notes: Russell Stover WO 2018021 - This was an interpack lead. 3/29: FAT successful with minor punch list. List completed and in packaging. Waiting for confirmation that wire transfer has been initiated and then we will ship. 3/22: Waiting for customer feedback on video (issue with small hearts). Jim sent last night. 3/15: In Integration. FAT 3/27 3/8: QC conveyor arrived yesterday. Production working on getting it mounted. Waiting for hardware first. 3/1: Last feeder in burn in. Other five feeders have been pre set up in Integration. QC conveyor could be here earlier than anticipated. Production getting head start on stand assembly. 2/22: Need to build 2 feeders in production. Waiting on parts for QC conveyor and stand. 2/15: Processed in procurement. All on order except catch tray. Production working on feeders. 2/8: ME design is complete. Kick off today. 2/1: Layout drawing sent to client. Waiting for approval. 1/25: Kicked off tomorrow. ME getting a head start. Engineering samples due today. Should have quote for a conveyor on Monday.
