Project Scope: The system will start by an operator loading cartons onto the flat belt conveyor. The cartons will be labeled by the MFT 150PA Print and Apply Label Applicator which will print and apply your labels. The labels will be printed from a static data-file loaded by Dia Sorin. Once a start sensor detects a passing box the tamp applicator will actuate to place the label onto the box. The tamp applicator will automatically sense the height of the box and retract once the label is applied. After the label has been applied a separate air cylinder will fold the remainder of the label over the side. (4) of the labeled boxes will then be flipped so that they are right side up (arrows pointing up) based on the directional arrows of the box. This will be done with a pusher sliding the box off the side of the conveyor so that it turns 90 degrees as it is transferred onto the second conveyor. For the larger 5th box it will transition to the second conveyor but does not flip. The collection table will be mounted 90 degrees to the main conveyor to make an L shaped system. The print engine will be a Zebra print engine. The guarding around the pusher assemblies will end just after the push to the collection table. Clay will email Adam to see if he can come Monday morning 8/16: Got confirmation from BlueStar. Equipment arriving next Wed. Adam will come out next Friday. 8/9: Adam wants to come in tomorrow. Told him better to come next week. 8/2: Zebra distributor sent wrong parts for printer. Nick working to get correct parts. Clay let customer know. Goal to have parts back by middle of next week and FAT on 8/10. 7/26: Have all parts. Waiting for Integration labor to free up. 7/19: Cylinders came in. Waiting on printer parts. 7/12: Swap out printer to higher DPI parts. New larger tamp pad in shop. New pneumatic cylinder on order. Integration paused until all items arrive. 6/21: In Integration. Road blocks here and there but overcoming them. Forgoing plating for FAT. Parts needing plating will be sent out after FAT is complete. 6/14: In Integration. Bob is working on it. Waiting on a couple parts from plating. (1 went out and 1 hasn't). 6/6: In production. Possibly ready Monday for Integration. 5/31: Picked. Tomas doing design for peel plate hinge. Tamp pad parts need to be plated. 5/24: Waiting on parts to arrive. In process of pulling. Production will start early next week after Amcor 5/17: Fighting through label on tamp pad. 5/10: Parts on order. 5/3: Parts on order. 4/26: Quoting parts. 4/19: Released to procurement. Quoting parts. 4/12: Received revised PO to add sensor. Ready to be kicked off. Just received customer sign off. Ed will schedule kick off for tomorrow. 4/5: Provided a revised layout. Sent feedback this morning. 3/29: Tomas working on design (should be done tomorrow). Hope to release Monday. 3/22: Same as 3/15. EE assisting Integration with Print and Apply Labeler. 3/15: Working on Print and Apply Labeler in Integration. Tomas now working on it. 3/8: ME will continue once Amcor is released. 2/22: Have approval to move forward with the original design. Clay will schedule review meeting with EE and ME 2/15: Jim working through details with client. 2/8: Jim working through details for change order to lengthen conveyor and add an Impresso Labeler. On hold until clarified. 2/1: ME put together layout drawing for tamp applicator. Jim needs to review with client to see if acceptable. Possible change order. 1/25: Had engineering meeting to clarify. ME will do basic layout drawing for 1 option so Jim can meet with client to get buy in. 1/18: In Engineering. Behind CCL. 1/11: Sales/Eng. visiting client site today. Will be kicked off tomorrow. 1/5: Ed and Jim will go to customer next week. Have samples with labels applied.
