Project Scope: The proposed system consists of a conveying system that will receive filters as they come off your existing conveyor. The filters will be placed onto the SC 3000-550 Shingling Conveyor. The collected filters will then be transferred into the MFT 620XED Driven Discharge which will drive the filter through the folding assembly. During the transfer two glue dots will be applied to the top surface of the filter. The glue dots will help hold the sheet in place once it is applied. As they exit the folding assembly they will be transferred into a second driven discharge which will help secure the sheet to the filter. The completed filter will then be fed onto the flat belt conveyor of your existing wrapper. The filter thickness will range from 0.75" up to 1" thick.
Notes: Commission are calculated on the true items per Cappers agreement. PPA Industries WO 2017174 12/21: Integration making good progress. Modifications to QC Conveyor need to be made. 12/7: Fully released to procurement. Production has head start on "standard" equipment. Waiting on material for shop. Deflector plate due 12/26. Vendor hoping to improve. 12/01: Assembly P/N 9602900 11/30: Need to rebuild one discharge. Waiting on buckle fold, conveyor, and stand from ME. 11/22: Only a few parts short. Received PO today for 2 more systems. 11/16: Will be kicked off on Monday
