Project Scope: The proposed system consists of a Multifeeder Technology MFT 250 V3 ED Signature Series Friction Feeder system to tip CR 80 Cards and other products up to 200mm (7.87") wide onto base products traveling on a Folder Gluer machine at a rate of up to 300 per minute. The MFT 250 V3 feeder will gently separate your products from in feed hopper of the feeder and will transport them individually through the 200mm (7.87") long discharge of the feeder. The folder gluer machine will feed a base product, a glue machine shall apply glue to the base product, and the MFT 250 V ED Friction Feeder will be signaled to feed a product onto the spot glued surface of the product traveling below by an optional Photo Optic Start Sensor Assembly. The MFT 250 will feed the tip on product into the pinch point of a top belt assembly on the folder machine to assure a positive transfer from the feeder onto the base product traveling below. The feeder can be configured with optional Easy Accutipping consisting of an encoder with wheel mounted on your base machine to monitor the speed of the base machine. As the speed of the base machine changes, the computer timing compensation package will vary the speed and timing of the feeder to ensure that the tip on insert is placed accurately regardless of the speed of the base machine. This proposal assumes that the will mount, install, and integrate the feeder with the folder gluer machine. Multifeeder can provide mounting, installation, and integration services as an option at our standard rates. We are offering a sales incentive of two additional feed belts and four discharge belts free of charge for an order placed on or before September 15th, 2017. Options Available: The feeder can be configured with Batch Count Mode and/or Multiple Product Detection as an option. An optional Electronic Interface Box Assembly can be used to signal the folder gluer machine to stop if the feeder runs empty or has a fault. Other options include a Spare Parts Kit, a Low Product Detect Sensor Assembly, and Standard Feeder installation.
