Project Scope: The proposed system consists of a MFT V 250XED Signature Series Friction Feeder which will separate and feed your products from a stack in the in feed hopper of the feeder. Once a dry contact is received from Pearson Packaging the feeder will dispense a product into their system. The feeder will be equipped with a low product sensor and stack light to sense when the stack is below a user settable threshold and alert the operator through the stack light. If double products are detected the unit will stop on error. The unit has been verified that double product detection will work for the samples thicknesses and print layout provided by Pearson Packaging. The unit will mount onto a HDSR 1000-250 Heavy Duty Stand on Rollers which will provide height adjustment through a crank handle on the stand. Optional items: Signal Interface Cable which will plug into the feeder and provide "flying leads" on the other end for Pearson Packaging to signal to the feeder.
