Project Scope: The proposed system consists of a Multifeeder Technology MFT 350 V3 XED Signature Series Friction Feeder system to tip CR 80 Cards onto base products traveling on an existing transport at a rate of up to 300 per minute. This feeder includes an additional trade show discount for display at the 2017 IPEX Show October 31st to November 3rd in Birmingham, England. The MFT 350 V3 feeder will gently separate your products from in feed hopper of the feeder and will transport them individually onto the 375mm (14.86") long discharge of the feeder. Base products will travel on your existing transport, a glue machine shall apply glue to the base product, and the MFT 350 V3 XED Friction Feeder will be signaled to feed a product onto the spot glued surface of the product traveling below by a customer supplied Photo Optic Start Sensor Assembly. The MFT 350 will feed the tip on product into the pinch point of customer supplied pressure roller assembly machine to assure a positive transfer from the feeder onto the base product traveling below. The feeder will be configured with Easy Accutipping consisting of an encoder with wheel mounted on your base machine to monitor the speed of the base machine. As the speed of the base machine changes, the computer timing compensation package will vary the speed and timing of the feeder to ensure that the tip on insert is placed accurately regardless of the speed of the base machine. The feeder will also be configured with Batch Count Mode to allow it to also be used to count batches of product. This proposal assumes that the customer will mount, install, and integrate the feeder with the existing base transport. Multifeeder can provide mounting, installation, and integration services as an option at our standard rates. Options Available: The feeder can also be configured with Multiple Product Detection (Double Detection) and can be signaled to feed by a Multifeeder supplied Photo Optic Start Sensor Assembly. An optional Electronic Interface Box Assembly can be used to signal the Moll machine to stop if the feeder runs empty or has a fault. Other options include a Spare Parts Kit, a Low Product Detect Sensor Assembly, and Standard Feeder installation.
