Project Scope: The proposed system consists of a MFT IP 550XED HCP Industrial Performance Friction Feeder which will separate and feed your products from a stack in the in feed hopper of the feeder. As the products are fed they will be placed onto the VTC 4000-550 Vacuum Track Conveyor where the product will be held in position using a vacuum source. As the product transfers down the conveyor hot melt glue will be applied to the top surface of the product. The glued product will then travel beneath the second MFT IP 550XED HCP Industrial Performance Friction Feeder where the top product will be tipped on. The second feeder will use the Continuous Accutipping Controller with encoder feedback to accurately place the product onto the passing base product. This feeder will also be equipped with a motor driven pressure roller which will aid the transfer of your product from the feeder to the base product. Finished products will be collected on a shingling conveyor for an operator to process. Each feeder will be equipped with an APL 1000-485 Automatic Product Loader for increased loading capacity as well as a stack light and low product sensor for operator alerts. If the tipping feeder goes into a red light condition it will stop the VTC. Optional items: APL 2000-550 Automatic Product Loader for increased loading capacity, Flexible Driven Discharge to transfer from the VTC to your in feed hopper with Fill Sensor line controller.
Notes: Forum Communications Printing W.O. 2017097 9/28: QA today and will be packaging today. Ship 9/29 AM. 9/21: FAT changed to video. Belts due today for APL. APL only outstanding piece that Integration needs. Goal to have FAT video done by EOD 9/22. Will ship samples to them so they can look and approve. 9/14: Making good progress in Integration. On track. 9/7: In Integration. Starting integrating one of the feeders today. One APL remaining in production for outstanding belts. Integration has limited product to test and set up. Clay asked Jim for more product and waiting on FAT document from Sales. 8/31: Should move to Integration by 9/8 8/24: Waiting on parts. Production starting on feeders. 8/10: Waiting for parts to come in. 7/13: Need BOM to Mark. Tomas to complete by 7/14. Will be processed mid to end of next week. Parts on order early the following week. 7/6: Processed in procurement. 6/29: Layout drawing complete. Jim sent to client for review and approval. 6/22: Kicked off. In ME. (Tomas) Ready to review late 6/23. 6/15: Kicked off tomorrow.
