Project Scope: This proposal consists of two Multifeeder Technology MFT 250 IP3 XED Industrial Performance Friction Feeder systems to count and drop batches of Pore Strips into the flighted in feed of your existing cartoning machine at a rate of up to 22 batches of 24 per minute. Next two MFT 250 IP3 Industrial Performance Friction Feeders will gently separate your products from a vertical stack and will transfer them individually onto the 375mm (14.76") long discharge of the feeder. The products will be fed one at a time into a small product drop gate assembly, where they will be stacked and accumulated. Dual Vacuum Track Assemblies each consisting of a vacuum chamber and a feed belt with holes that travels over the chamber will be used to allow the feeder to best grip the products as they are fed. Each MFT 250 IP3 Friction Feeder will be equipped with a Siko Counter Stripper wheel and discharge height adjustment know with numeric scale for a repeatable set up. Each feeder drop gate combination will be signaled to drop a completed stack onto the conveyor by a Photo Optic Start Sensor Assembly. Once the drop gate releases a completed stack, it will return to its closed position and will signal the feeder to replenish the drop table with a new stack. A Static Reduction Bar (24 VDC) will be mounted over the discharge of the feeder to reduce static on the products as they are fed. A Guard cover will be mounted over the discharge of each of the feeders. An APL 1000-190 Automatic Produce Loader (1000mm x 190mm) will be positioned perpendicular to flow with respect to each of the batching feeders. Each loader will be mounted to the stands on the front and will have a height adjustable leg on caster in the back. A Photo Optic Sensor will be mounted in the in feed magazine of the feeder to signal the loader to replenish the stack once it drops below a pre-set level. Looking at the back of the feeders the loaders will be positioned to the left of the feeders. Each feeder loader combination will be mounted onto a Multifeeder supplied CSA 1000-250 Cantilever Stands on Roller with docking hardware to dock them to the conveyor. The operator will manually set the feeders to feed counts of 4, 6, 8, 10, 14, 18, and 24 dividing the counts between the two feeders. The counts for singles (one kind) are 4, 6, 10, 14, and 18. The combo packs are 8, (4 + 4), 14 (7 + 7), and 24 (12 + 12). If a feeder runs empty or has a fault a relay interface box will be used to signal the system to stop. A Spare Parts Kit and two Low Product Detect Sensor Assemblies are included. The Multifeeder standard infrared sensor is not able to detect doubles on the foil products so as an option, a secondary foil detect sensor assembly can be added if double detection is necessary. A transformer is included to receive your 480 - 3 Phase power to convert it to 208 VAC power for the three feeder systems. Multifeeder Engineering team will provide a system layout drawing for your approval. A Factor Acceptance test will be performed to confirm system performance prior to shipment. This proposal assumes that the customer will install, and integrate the feeder systems with the existing transport conveyor. As an option Multifeeder can provide installation, and integration services as an option. Options available: Other options include Standard Feeder installation at your facility.
Notes: 6/22: Preshipment money will arrive ACH 6/23. Waiting for official approval from client to ship. 6/15: FAT went very well. Minor punch list which Steve is working on. Will provide video when complete with punch list and showing all four products by end of day today. 6/8: Steve working on this. Issue with drop gate. 6/1: Steve making good progress. Feeding product in good stacks. Also working on APL side guiding. 5/25: Moved to Integration 5/24. Steve will start on this 5/26. Clay sent out final FAT document. Send feedback to Clay no later than noon 5/26. Still short parts. Need to create BOM for shaker. Ed owns completion of shaker.(BOM kit) 5/18: In production. Penny to update status in Monday AM ops meeting. Scheduled to be out of production mid-day Tuesday. Still waiting on static bar for feeder. Due 5/25 (we have 1, need 1 more). Clay to provide FAT document feedback to client no later than Friday. 5/11: Working with client on FAT document. In procurement. 5/4: Got signed approval for layout. Tomas needs to release assembly and then it will be released to procurement. 4/20: Meeting to discuss WO status. WO needs to be cleaned up by sales before being able to kickoff. Verify if order need CSA instead of CE, brought up by RA Jones. 4/17: Down payment should be to us by the end of this week
