Project Scope: The proposed system consist of a Multifeeder Technology Impresso Labeling machine to present labels for a robot to pick up for further processing at rate of up to 60 per minute. The Impresso Labeling machine will be mounted by the customer to present double stick labels with the top release liner present for robot pick up. A Roll of labels (up to 18" in diameter) is loaded on the unwind, which gently unwinds the roll of labels with to stage them to be applied. The labeler is equipped with a brushless servo motor and with computer control to supervise the labels as they travel through the labeling machine. A Photo Optic Sensor will be used to detect the label as it exits the peel plate and is transferred onto a support plate for robot pick up. The labeler will be signaled to present a label onto the support plate and will provide back label status via a Standard Interface Cable Assembly. Additional quantity discounts of: 2% for the purchase of two labelers on the same purchase order. 3% for the purchase of three labelers on the same purchase order. 4% for the purchase of four labelers on the same purchase order. 5% for the purchase of five labelers on the same purchase order. Options Available: The labeler can be mounted onto an optional Heavy Duty Stand on Rollers. Other options include a Spare Parts Kit, a Low Product Detect Sensor Assembly and Standard Labeler installation. Other options include a Low Product Sensor Assembly, a spare parts kit, and standard feeder installation, Heavy Duty Rear Support Assembly will be used to support that stack from the back as they are fed. Mechanical Engineering will create a system drawing for customer approval. System Integration includes a Factory Acceptance Test to verify system performance before shipment. System Integration and testing includes testing of all individual pieces to perform as one complete system. Integration also includes testing of the feeding performance of each product size at the rate specified.
Notes: 5/18: Issue discovered during burn-in on rewind shaft. Addressed with "jam" nut per ME instruction. Will be to Integration by noon today. Signal light location needs to be determined. Penny to call Mark for clarification. 5/11: Parts will be back from plating 5/12. Parts done in shop by 5/12. 5/4: Parts are in the shop. Ed to follow up on estimated done. External parts - 5/12. New WD parts delayed shop two weeks for this order. 4/20: Still waiting on Machine shop parts held up by WD. 4/13: 5/24 ship date in jeopardy. Parts behind in shop. Schedule a meeting for 4/18 (Ed, Peter, Mark) 4/6: Parts in machine shop (delayed with wash down) 3/30: Just got last parts on order - Due 5/12 3/23: In procurement. Lots of parts to order 3/16: Added stand to the order. Clay to provide new lead time with stand upgrade. Need to add stand amount ($1,917.54) to WO 3/14: Client provided comment ""PO for new RL Craig will be sent this week (week of 3/13)"". This is the reason for pushing the ship date to 5/19. 3/9: Would like to send final drawing to get approval by 3/13. Possibly looking for a stand upgrade? Clay will talk to Mark about upgrade. 3/2: Tyler working on design. Ed setting up a gotomeeting. 2/23: ME to have mirrored drawing still by 2/28. 2/16: Need call with APT engineer to discuss picking head. ME working on drawings for 2/28 at latest delivery to client for review. 2/9: Labeler is in design. Need to know from client what arm the cleint is using to pick the label. 2/2: Still waiting on Down Payment. Still in R&D 1/26: In ME. Hoping to complete by 2/17.
