Project Scope: The proposed system consists of two Multifeeder Technology MFT 550 IP3 WD XED Industrial Performance Series Wash Down Friction Feeder systems to feed chipboard sheets (one or two) into a customer-supplied and integrated tray at a rate of up to 30 per minute. Each MFT 550 Friction Feeder will gently separate the chipboard sheets from an inclined stack in the in feed magazine of the feeder. A HD 425 Heavy Duty Rear Support Assembly will be used to support the stack of product from the rear as they are fed. The sheets will be transferred one at time onto the 375mm (14.76") discharge of the feeder. The feeder will be signaled to feed either one or two sheets into a customer supplied and integrate tray and will provide back feeder status using a 10m (33ft) Standard Interface Cable Assembly. The feeder will be equipped with Stainless steel cases, hex head fasteners, connectors, a wash down motor, and cables to accommodate wash down. The MFT 550 WD Friction feeder use case inside of a case design to allow for cleaning with water, steam, chemicals, or a mixture of them. Also included is a Stack light Assembly for machine status at a glance as well as a Low Product Detect Sensor Assembly. This proposal assumes that the customer will mount, install, and integrate the feeder with the existing conveyor. As an option Multifeeder can provide mounting, installation, and integration services as an option. Options available: Other options include a Spare Parts Kit and Standard Feeder Installation.
