Project Scope: The proposed system consists three Multifeeder Technology MFT Industrial Performance IP3 XLD HCP Friction Feeders to tip various products onto a Bobst folder Gluer machine at a rate of up to 400 per minute (with a tolerance of +/- 1/16" for speeds up to 80mpm). This proposal includes a sales incentive for an order placed on or before September 24, 2016. The first feeder will be a MFT 350 IP3 Friction Feeder that will gently separate your products (up to 300mm wide) from a vertical stack of the in feed hopper of the feeder. As the products are fed, they will be transported individually through the 350mm wide (13.77") 600mm (23.64") long discharge of the feeder. The MFT 350 will be signaled to feed by a Photo Optic Start Sensor Assembly and will be mounted onto an adjustable mounting frame to allow the position of the feeder to be adjusted in the x, y, and z directions on the folder gluer machine. The MFT 350 will be configured with Hard Carcass Discharge Belts, Precise Seiko Counter Height Adjustment knobs, Adjustable Discharge Side Guides, and a Hard Carcass Nose Roller Assembly to allow the discharge to be placed close to the product traveling below. The MFT 350 IP3 feeder will be equipped with Continuous Motion Accutipping consisting of an encoder with wheel mounted on your base machine to monitor the speed of the base machine. As the speed of the base machine changes, the computer timing compensation package will vary the speed and timing of the feeder to ensure that the insert is placed accurately regardless of the speed of the base machine. This feature also allows the operator to place two inserts one after another on a base card.* (double tip may reduce production speeds) The second two feeders will be used MFT 250/150 IP3 Friction Feeders (SN 1503 09120 and SN 1552 09354) that will gently separate your products up to 100mm (3.93") wide from a vertical stack of the in feed hopper of the feeder. As the products are fed, they will be transported individually through the 150mm wide (5.91") 600mm (23.64") long discharge of the feeder. The MFT 250/150 will be signaled to feed by a Photo Optic Start Sensor Assembly and will be mounted onto an adjustable mounting frame to allow the position of the feeder to be adjusted in the x, y, and z directions on the folder gluer machine. Each MFT 250 will be configured with Hard Carcass Discharge Belts, Precise Seiko Counter Height Adjustment knobs, Adjustable Discharge Side Guides, and a Hard Carcass Nose Roller Assembly to allow the discharge to be placed close to the product traveling below. Each used feeder is available on a first come first served basis and will carry a new machine warranty. This feature also allows the operator to place two inserts one after another on a base card.* (double tip may reduce production speeds) Each feeder will be configured with an Electronic Interface Box Assembly to signal the Folder Gluer machine to stop if the feeder runs empty or has a fault. This proposal assumes that the customer will mount, install, and integrate the feeder with the folder gluer machine. Multifeeder can provide mounting, installation, and integration services as an option at our standard rates. Options Available: Options include a Spare Parts Kit, a Low Product Detect Sensor Assembly, and Standard Feeder installation.
Notes: Base Commission amount (before splitting discount) is $ 95,249.78 minus non commissionable items (3 x 995.00 upgrade $ 2,985.00) or $ 92,264.78 x .15 = $ 13,839.72. Spare Parts Kit discount $ 1,347.00 (Multifeeder is absorbing this amount of the discount). The remaining discount is $ 16,079.78 minus $ 1,347.00 is $ 14,732.78 (split 50/50 with RYPAC). The Base Commission amount (before splitting discount) is $ 13,839.72 minus half of the discount of $ 14,732.78 ($ 7,366.39) is $ 6,473.33
