Project Scope: The proposed system consists of a Multifeeder Technology MFT 250 IP3 FXED Industrial Performance Friction Feeder with flexible segmented discharge to feed folded paper leaflets vertically into the in feed of a Consolidated Cartoning machine at a rate of up 100 per minute. The MFT 250 Friction Feeder will gently separate your folded leaflets from a vertical stack of the in feed hopper of the feeder. As the products are fed, they will be transported individually through the 375mm (14.86") long flexible discharge of the feeder. The flexible discharge is equipped with segments that are angle adjustable with respect to one another to allow the angle of the discharge to be set vertically to best transfer the leaflets from the feeder into the cartoning machine. Using a Standard Interface Cable Assembly, the Consolidated machine will signal the feeder to feed the leaflet into the in feed of the cartoning machine, once complete the feeder will send back a cycle complete signal to the Consolidated machine. The customer will assume responsibility for mounting, integrating, and installing the feeder with the Consolidated machine. Multifeeder can provide mounting, integration, and installation services as an option at our standard rates. Options Available: An optional Vacuum Track Assembly consisting of a vacuum chamber and a feed belt with holes that travels over the chamber can be used to allow the feeder to best grip the products as they are fed. The feeder can be mounted onto an optional HDSR 1000-250 Stand on Rollers for mobility. Other options include a Spare Parts Kit, a Low Product Detect Sensor Assembly, and Standard Feeder installation.
