Project Scope: The proposed system consists of a MFT IP 350XED Industrial Performance Friction Feeder to separate and feed your products from a stack in the in feed hopper of the feeder. The feeder will have an APL 2000-290 Automatic Product Loader for increased loading capacity. The APL will feed the products onto the inline APL Transfer Conveyor at 90 degrees which will then present the product to the feeder inline. Vacuum Chamber assemblies along with the vacuum generator will provide vacuum to the feed belts for increased vacuum support. Once Mamata removes a bag from the discharge of the feeder they will send a dry contact to the feeder to feed another product. A signal interface cable will allow Mamata to get machine status to determine if the feeder is in a green light condition. Mamata will us their existing Prox Sensor for the product sensor to signal the feeder when the product is present. The height of the discharge will be 46 +/- 2". The 90 degree APL will come in from the mechanical side of the feeder. The system will have flats machined on the shafts and scales added for the following areas: Feeder in feed magazine rods, 1 meter APL in/out, 2 meter APL in/out, APL side guides in/out. The bags must be flat and consistent and cannot contain dog ears, warps, twists, cupping, etc for proper feeding consistency. Additional product specifications can be found under the Product Sample Requirements in the proposal. Optional items: Installation and Training for a service technician to be onsite (customer address must be provided to provide quote), HD 425 Rear Support Curve to support longer products, SC 2000-350 Transport Conveyor with servo motor drive and controls to transport the product to your system, Variable Thickness Assembly - Zipper perpendicular - Per Track for feeding the zipper perpendicular, clear product sensor to detect clear products.
