Project Scope: The proposed system consists (3) collating systems with integration into your existing padders. The system will begin with product coming off your existing sheeter and transferring into the driven discharge. The products will then be counted into batches and placed into the ADT 550XLT Automatic Drop Table. A stack jogger will be mounted in the ADT 550XLT to square the stack of product. Once a start sensor detects a passing lug the stack will be transferred onto a product tray where a lug will remove to ensure it is squared to the back of the lug. An MFT V 550XED Signature Series Friction Feeder will separate and feed your base sheets from a stack. The V 550 will feed a base sheet in the opposite direction of the line under the ADT prior to it dropping the stack of product. The collected batch will continue to travel down the HSC - 2 High Speed Lugged Collator where it will pass beneath the second IP 550 which will feed up to (4) sheets into the second ADT 550XLT Automatic Drop Table which will also be equipped with stack jogger and product tray to ensure an square stack(sheet count will remain static per job). A third IP 550XED will then feed a stop sheet into a product tray to allow for a top sheet squared to the stack. At the end of the lugged collator the collated products will be transfered into your existing Bracket padder using the Product Transfer System with Controller. The collating lines will be equipped with (3) barcode readers on each line to scan the sheets and ensure that they all match as well as verifying that the note sheets barcode match the insert sheet and top sheet barcodes. If a barcode does not match or is not present the system will stop on error. The barcode readers can be enabled and disabled from the system so that if you are running generic product (with no code) one any one feeder they can be turned off.
