Project Scope: This proposed system consists of two Multifeeder Technology feeding and transport systems to feed Tyvek products up to 500mm wide (19.64") with consistent repeat to be printed by a customer supplied and integrated Bell-Mark InteliJet TS and InteliJet HD Print systems at a rate of up to 40 meters per minute correlating to up to 60 per minute. A Multifeeder Technology MFT 550 IP3 Friction Feeder will gently separate your Tyvek products from an inclined stack of the feeder. The feeder will be equipped with No Tool Change Over Parts" to allow change overs between sizes to be performed in 5 minutes on average with a maximum 10 minutes by a trained operator without tools. These parts include side guides that fit over the top of the feed belts. A Heavy Duty Rear Support Assembly with three different support plates (change parts) to support the stack from the back as the products are fed. A Single Vacuum Track Assembly consisting of a vacuum chamber and a feed belt with holes that travels over the chamber will be used to best grip the products as they are fed. Siko Counters will be used on the stripper wheel and discharge belt adjustments to allow for a repeatable set up. TUV will come to Multifeeder with provide a CE Declaration of Conformity certificate for the MFT 550 Friction Feeder and the VTC 2000-550 Vacuum Track Conveyor only. A custom CE system certificate is not required. As the products are fed, they will be transported individually through the 375mm (14.76") long discharge of the feeder. Left and Right Funnel Guides (with a set of short and long rods) will be used to register the products side to side as they are transferred onto a Multifeeder Technology VTC 2000-550 Vacuum Track Conveyor (2000mm x 550mm) configured with a 13" wide Silicon vacuum belt (center justified) with consistent repeat. An additional vacuum line will be added near the feeder to vacuum any particulates generated by the belts on the feeder head. The customer will plumb the vacuum exhaust outside the clean room. The MFT 550 Friction Feeder will be equipped with an Active Static Reduction bar to reduce static on the Tyvek products as they are fed. The feeder will be equipped with a Lexan cover with hinges and interlock switch over the discharge of the feeder. The Multifeeder MFT 550 Industrial Performance Friction Feeder is CE Compliant. This system will be class 100,000 compliant contingent upon a confirmation of project details. The feeder will be equipped with Card Line software consisting of an encoder with wheel mounted on your base machine to monitor the speed of the base machine. As the speed of the base machine changes, the computer timing compensation package will vary the speed and timing of the feeder to ensure that the trays are placed with consistent repeat regardless of the speed of the base machine. The system will have the ability to resume the count after a fault occurs. The operator will set the batch count on the Multifeeder system. If a fault occurs during the batch, (example double, product jam, or no product) the feeder will be signaled to stop and the transport will continue to run one half or full rotation to complete the printing of the sheets already on the transport and then will be signaled to stop. The operator will remove the bad product, and then will press "resume" and the feeder system will continue the count. The feeder and the conveyor will each be equipped with input output boards to allow the print system to signal the feeder and conveyor to stop if the print is not ready. Five E-Stop Buttons will be positioned along the conveyor to allow the operator to disconnect power to the motor drives, but will keep the feeder and conveyor controls active. The system will also be equipped with five stop conveyor buttons to allow the operator to stop the system when pressed. Next a customer supplied and integrated Bell-Mark InteliJet TS and InteliJet HD system will be straddle mounted over the conveyor to print on the sheets at a rate of up to 400mm per second. A customer supplied and integrated LED Dryer will be used to cure the ink. The completed products will be transferred onto a Catch Tray Plate with magnetic funnel side guides. An Active Static Reduction bar will be mounted over the top of the Catch Pan to reduce static on the products as they are transferred from the conveyor onto the Magnetic Catch Tray Pan where they will be stacked and accumulated. The system will operate on 230VAC Single Phase 50HZ (for the feeder and conveyor transport) and 400 VAC Three Phase (for the vacuum pump assembly). Multifeeder's Engineering team will create a system drawing for customer approval. System Integration includes a Factory Acceptance Test to verify system performance before shipment. System Integration and testing includes testing of all individual pieces to perform as one complete system. Integration also includes testing of the feeding performance of each product size at the rate specified. A detailed set up video will be created showing step by step how to set up and operate the equipment with each of the different samples provided at the rates specified prior to shipment. Options Available: Other options include a Spare Parts Kit, a Low Product Sensor Assembly, and standard feeder installation.
