Project Scope: This revised proposal consists of fourteen Multifeeder Technology MFT 550 IP XLD Friction Feeders with 600mm (23.64") vacuum discharge to present carton blanks to be printed by a customer-supplied and integrated Bell-Mark printer at a rate of up to 30 per minute as they travel on the discharge of the feeder. This revised proposal includes a single 450mm (17.72") wide vacuum discharge belt along with a simple Lexan cover (550mm wide and 200mm long) over the top of the feeder discharge before the Bell-Mark Printer. Each MFT 550 IP XLD Industrial Performance Friction feeder will gently separate carton blanks from an inclined stack of the feeder. A Heavy Duty Rear Support Assembly will be used to support the stack from the back as they are fed. The products will be transferred one at a time onto the sectional 600mm (23.64") long vacuum discharge. The vacuum discharge will be equipped with a single 450mm (17.72") wide vacuum belt in the center of the discharge. A customer-supplied and integrated Bell-Mark printer will print on the products as they travel on the discharge. A simple Lexan cover (550mm wide and 200mm long) will be mounted over the top of the feeder discharge before the Bell-Mark Printer. The products will exit the discharge of the feeder and will be transferred onto a customer-supplied and integrated Catch Tray Plate in batches of 10 or 20 for further processing. A Foot Pedal Switch will be used to signal the feeder to replenish the tray. The feeder will be mounted onto a HDSR 1000-550 Heavy Duty Stand on Rollers (short column) for height adjustment and mobility. Each feeder will be dedicated to feed one or two products of similar size. Multifeeder's Engineering team will create a system drawing for customer approval. System Integration includes a Factory Acceptance Test to verify system performance before shipment. System Integration and testing includes testing of all individual pieces to perform as one complete system. Integration also includes testing of the feeding performance of each product size at the rate specified. A detailed set up video will be created showing step by step how to set up and operate the equipment with each of the different samples provided at the rates specified prior to shipment. This proposal assumes that the customer will install and integrate the print systems with the feeders. Multifeeder can provide installation and integration services at our standard rates. Optional items: Optional Dual Vacuum Track Assemblies each consisting of a vacuum chamber and a feed belt with holes that travels over the chamber can be used to best grip the products as they are fed. Other Options include a Spare Parts Kit, a Low Product Detect Sensor Assembly, and Standard Feeder installation.
