Project Scope: The proposed system consists of two Multifeeder MFT 350 IP3 Industrial Performance Friction Feeder systems and two MFT 350 V3 Signature Series Friction Feeder systems. Two MFT 350 IP3 ED Industrial Performance Friction Feeders: Two Multifeeder Technology MFT 350 IP3 ED Industrial Performance Friction Feeder systems will be used to tip CR 80 Cards and other products up to 300mm (11.81") wide onto base products traveling on a Moll Folder Gluer machine at a rate of up to 300 per minute. Each MFT 350 feeder will gently separate your products from a vertical stack of the in feed hopper of the feeder. As the products are fed, they will be transported individually through the 200mm (7.87") long discharge of the feeder. Each MFT 350 IP3 feeder will be equipped with 50% gearing to allow the discharge belts to travel 50% faster the feed belts to provide additional spacing between the products on the discharge as they are fed. The Moll machine will feed a base product, a glue machine shall apply glue to the base product, and the MFT 350 IP3 ED Friction Feeder will be signaled to feed a product onto the spot glued surface of the product traveling below by a Photo Optic Start Sensor Assembly. The MFT 350 IP3 will feed the tip on product into the pinch point of a top belt assembly on the Moll machine to assure a positive transfer from the feeder onto the base product traveling below. An Electronic Interface Box Assembly will be used to signal the Moll machine to stop if the feeder runs empty or has a fault. Each feeder will be configured with Continuous Motion Accutipping consisting of an encoder with wheel mounted on your base machine to monitor the speed of the base machine. As the speed of the base machine changes, the computer timing compensation package will vary the speed and timing of the feeder to ensure that the tip on insert is placed accurately regardless of the speed of the base machine. The first MFT 350 V3 ED Signature Series Friction Feeder system will be used to tip CR 80 Cards and other products up to 300mm (11.81") wide onto base products traveling on a Moll Folder Gluer machine at a rate of up to 300 per minute. The feeder will be configured with Easy Accutipping with encoder consisting of an encoder with wheel mounted on your base machine to monitor the speed of the base machine. As the speed of the base machine changes, the computer timing compensation package will vary the speed and timing of the feeder to ensure that the tip on insert is placed accurately regardless of the speed of the base machine. The second Multifeeder Technology MFT 350 V3 XED Signature Series Friction Feeder system will be used to tip easels and other products up to 300mm (11.81") wide onto base products traveling on a Moll Folder Gluer machine at a rate of up to 120 per minute. MFT 350 V3 XED Signature Series Friction Feeder: The MFT 350 V3 feeder will gently separate your products from a vertical stack of the in feed hopper of the feeder. As the products are fed, they will be transported individually through the 375mm (14.76") long discharge of the feeder. A Heavy Duty Rear Support Assembly will be used to support the stack from the back as the products are fed. Left and right Discharge Side Guides will be used to register the products side to side as they are fed. The Moll machine will feed a base product, a glue machine shall apply glue to the base product, and the MFT 350 V3 XED Friction Feeder will be signaled to feed a product onto the spot glued surface of the product traveling below by a Photo Optic Start Sensor Assembly. The MFT 350 V3 will feed the tip on product into the pinch point of a top belt assembly on the Moll machine to assure a positive transfer from the feeder onto the base product traveling below. The feeder will be configured with Easy Accutipping with encoder consisting of an encoder with wheel mounted on your base machine to monitor the speed of the base machine. As the speed of the base machine changes, the computer timing compensation package will vary the speed and timing of the feeder to ensure that the tip on insert is placed accurately regardless of the speed of the base machine. This proposal assumes that Moll will mount, install, and integrate the feeders with the Moll folder gluer machine. Multifeeder can provide mounting, installation, and integration services as an option at our standard rates. Options Available: An optional Electronic Interface Box Assembly can be used to signal the Moll machine to stop if the feeder runs empty or has a fault. The MFT 350 V3 Friction Feeders can be equipped with Multiple Product Detection (Double Detection) or Batch Count Mode as an option. Optional Dual Vacuum Track Assemblies each consisting of a vacuum chamber and a feed belt with holes that travels over the chamber can be used to allow the feeder to best grip the products as they are fed. Other options include a Spare Parts Kit, a Low Product Detect Sensor Assembly, and Standard Feeder installation.
