Project Scope: The proposed system consists of a MFT IP 250XED Industrial Performance Friction Feeder to separate and feed your leaflets from a stack in the in feed hopper of the feeder. As the products are fed they will be counted into batches (batch size is user settable). The product will be accumulated in the catch tray of the feeder as it exits the discharge. Once the batch count has been reached the system will pause until an operator removes the stack which will automatically signal the feeder to replenish the stack. The system will mount onto a HDSR 1000-250 Stand on Rollers for height adjustment and mobility. The feeder will be equipped with Sieko counters for the stripper wheel and upper discharge height adjustment and a scaled rear support curve assembly along with a ruler scale for the in feed magazine to provide easy change over parameters for the operators. Guarding will be provided to cover the belted areas including an interlocked hinged door to access the upper discharge area.
