Project Scope: This proposed system consists of a Multifeeder Technology feeding and transport system to feed Tyvek products up to 500mm wide (19.64") with consistent repeat to be printed by a customer supplied and integrated Bell-Mark InteliJet TS and InteliJet HD Print systems at a rate of up to 25 meters per minute per second correlating to up to 60 per minute. This proposal includes the updates from our most recent FAT at your facility. A Multifeeder Technology MFT 550 Friction Feeder will gently separate your Tyvek products from an inclined stack of the feeder. A Heavy Duty Rear Support Assembly will be used to support the stack from the rear as the product are fed. The feeder will be equipped with "No Tool Change Over Parts" to allow change overs between sizes to be performed in 5 minutes or less by a trained operator without tools. These parts include side guides that fit over the top of the feed belts. A Heavy Duty Rear Support Assembly with three different support plates (change parts) to support the stack from the back as the products are fed. A Single Vacuum Track Assembly consisting of a vacuum chamber and a feed belt with holes that travels over the chamber will be used to best grip the products as they are fed. Siko Counters will be used on the stripper wheel and discharge belt adjustments to allow for a repeatable set up. The MFT 550 Friction Feeder will be equipped with an Active Static Reduction bar to reduce static on the Tyvek products as they are fed and transferred onto a Multifeeder Technology VTC 2000-550 Vacuum Track Conveyor (2000mm x 550mm)equipped with a 13" wide silicon vacuum belt. The feeder will be equipped with backer repeat mode consisting of an encoder with wheel mounted on your base machine to monitor the speed of the base machine. As the speed of the base machine changes, the computer timing compensation package will vary the speed and timing of the feeder to ensure that the Tyvek products are placed with consistent repeat regardless of the speed of the base machine. If the feeder runs empty or has a fault the transport will be signaled to stop. The feeder and conveyor will be equipped with input output boards to allow the print system to signal the feeder and conveyor to stop if the print is not ready. Three E-Stop Buttons will be positioned along the conveyor to allow the operator to disconnect power to the motor drives, but will keep the feeder and conveyor controls active. The system will also be equipped with three stop conveyor buttons to allow the operator to stop the system when pressed. Bell-Mark will signal the feeder to feed via the serial port of the feeder. Next a customer supplied and integrated Bell-Mark InteliJet TS and InteliJet HD system will be straddle mounted over the conveyor to print on the sheets at a rate of up to 400mm per second. An LED Dryer will be used to cure the ink. An Active Static Reduction bar will be mounted on the top of the vacuum conveyor near the end to reduce static on the products as they are transferred from the vacuum conveyor onto a Magnetic Catch Tray Pan where they will be stacked and accumulated. The Metal Catch Pan will be able to accommodate a product up to 25" long. Multifeeder's Engineering team will create a system drawing for customer approval. System Integration includes a Factory Acceptance Test to verify system performance before shipment. System Integration and testing includes testing of all individual pieces to perform as one complete system. Integration also includes testing of the feeding performance of each product size at the rate specified. A detailed set up video will be created showing step by step how to set up and operate the equipment with each of the different samples provided at the rates specified prior to shipment. Options Available: Other options include a Spare Parts Kit, a Low Product Sensor Assembly, and standard feeder installation.
