Project Scope: The proposed system consists of an MFT 1300 DHSL Driven High Speed Lugged Precision Tipping System to precisely tip your booklet product onto the web of your existing Mark Andy web system. The system will be equipped with a MFT HCP 350XED Industrial High Performance Friction Feeder to separate and feed your booklet products from a stack in the infeed hopper of the feeder. As the leaflets are fed they will be transferred into the MFT 350 Lugged Driven Discharge section of the system using the Continuous Accutipping Controller with encoder feed back to match the registration mark pitch on your web. Once the product has been transferred into the MFT 350 LDD section the product will be squared using bottom lugs. The LDD section provides positive product control and transfer of the product through the discharge and onto the web using top hard carcass discharge belts to maintain precise and gentle control of the product. The LDD section will be equipped with a Continuous Accutipping Controller and encoder feed back to do the final micro adjustments to the placement onto your web. As the product transfers onto your web, the feeder will maintain full top and bottom control of the product to ensure a square and accurate transfer to your web. The system will be mounted onto a base frame with linear slides and crank adjustments. The system will be equipped with a series of digital and analog height adjustment scales to provide a repeatable and accurate setup. OPTIONAL ITEMS: APL 1000-350 STANDARD CONFIG - The Automatic Product Loader (APL) connects to the infeed section of the 1300DHSL System to increase loading capacity and assist the loader during peak speed running cycles.
