Project Scope: The proposed system consists of a MFT V 550XED Signature Series Friction Feeder to separate and feed your base products from a stack in the in feed hopper of the feeder. As the products exit the discharge of the feeder they will be placed onto your existing vacuum conveyor using the Continuous Accutipping Repeat Controller with encoder feedback to accurately place the product at a user settable repeat distance. Once on the conveyor the products will be glued with two strips of hot melt adhesive using the Hot Melt glue tank and glue patter controller to secure the tip on to the base product. The glued product will then pass beneath a MFT IP 250XED Industrial Performance Friction feeder which will provide accurate product placement using the Continuous Accutipping Speed Match Controller with encoder feedback. Optional items: High Performance Drive Package for increased speeds beyond 300 PPM, Relay Interface Box to provide a dry contact if the feeder has a red light condition.
