Project Scope: This proposal consists of a Multifeeder Technology MFT 350 Industrial Performance Friction feeder to present batches of 15 to 50 sheets onto a customer supplied and integrated transport. Essentra is strongly considering buying a 6-8 station collator from Multifeeder and this proposed feeder system is for testing purposes prior to placing an order. The MFT 350 IP Friction Feeder system is to be leased to Brunel on a zero dollar lease for ninety days (on separate lease agreement) for demonstration purposes prior to purchase. Brunel is responsible for shipping charges. The MFT 350 IP Friction Feeder will gently separate your products from a vertical stack of the in feed hopper of the feeder. As the products are fed, they will be transported individually through the 375mm (14.76") long discharge of the feeder and will be transferred one at a time into an ADT 350 Automatic Drop Table, where they will be stacked and accumulated. Dual Vacuum Track Assemblies each consisting of a vacuum chamber and a feed belt with holes that travels over the chamber will be used to allow the feeder to best grip the products as they are fed. Active Static Control consisting of a power supply and an active static reduction bar will be mounted on the top and bottom of the feeder discharge to reduce static on the products as they are fed. An APL 2000-290 Automatic Product Loader will be used to allow for an optimum stack height in the in feed magazine of the feeder and for increased in feed magazine capacity. The feeder drop table combination will be signaled to drop a completed stack onto the transport by a Photo Optic Start Sensor Assembly. Once the drop table releases a completed stack, it will return to its closed position and will signal the feeder to replenish the drop table with a new stack. The feeder and drop table system will be mounted on a HDSR 1000-350 Stand on Rollers for height adjustment and mobility. This proposal assumes that the customer will install and integrate the feeder system with the existing transport. As an option Multifeeder can provide installation and integration services as an option. Options available: Options include a Electronic Interface Box to signal your host system to stop if the feeder runs empty or has a fault. The feeder drop table combination can also be signaled to release a stack by an optional Photo Optic Start Sensor Assembly. Other options include a Spare Parts Kit, a Low Product Detect Sensor Assembly, and Standard Feeder installation.
