Project Scope: The proposed system consists of four Multifeeder Technology MFT 250 V XED Signature Series Friction feeder systems with 375mm (14.76") extended discharges to each feed paper booklet or sleeve into a customer supplied and integrated catch tray for pick up by a robot at a rate of up to 12 per minute. Each feeder will be dedicated to a single size product from the samples table and will gently separate the products from an inclined stack in the in feed magazine of the feeder. The products will be transferred one at a time onto the 375mm (14.76") discharge of the feeder. Each feeder will be signaled to feed a booklet into the catch tray and will provide back feeder status via a Standard Interface Cable Assembly. An APL 2000-190 Automatic Product Loader (2000mm x 190mm) inline configuration will be used to allow for an optimum stack height in the in feed magazine of the feeder and for increased in feed magazine capacity to accommodate your 2 hour capacity requirement. Each feeder system will be mounted onto a HDSR 1000-250 Stand on Rollers for height adjustment and mobility. A Low Product Detect Sensor Assembly will be used to alert the operator to replenish the loader once the product stack is low. This proposal assumes that the customer will install and integrate the feeders. Multifeeder can provide installation and integration services as an option at our standard rates. Options available: Dual Vacuum Track Assemblies each consisting of a vacuum chamber and a feed belt with holes can be used to allow the feeder to best grip the products as they are fed. Each feeder can be configured with Multiple Product Detection (Double Detection) or Batch Count Mode as an option. Other options include a Spare Parts Kit and Standard Feeder Installation.
