Project Scope: The proposed system consists of two Multifeeder Technology MFT 350 V ED Signature Series Friction Feeder systems to tip CR 80 Cards onto base products traveling a Moll Folder Gluer machine at a rate of up to 300 per minute. Each MFT 350 feeder will gently separate your products from a vertical stack of the in feed hopper of the feeder. As the products are fed, they will be transported individually through the 200mm (7.87") long discharge of the feeder. The Moll machine will feed a base product, a glue machine shall apply glue to the base sheet, and the MFT 350 V ED Friction Feeder will be signaled to feed a product into the pinch point of a top belt assembly on the Moll machine by a Photo Optic Start Sensor. An Electronic Interface Box Assembly will be used to signal the Moll machine to stop if the feeder runs empty or has a fault. The feeder will be configured with EZTipping consisting of an encoder with wheel mounted on your base machine to monitor the speed of the base machine. As the speed of the base machine changes, the computer timing compensation package will vary the speed and timing of the feeder to ensure that the insert is placed accurately regardless of the speed of the base machine. This proposal assumes that the customer will mount, install, and integrate the feeder with the Moll folder gluer machine. Multifeeder can provide mounting, installation, and integration services as an option at our standard rates. Options Available: The feeder can be equipped with Multiple Product Detection (Double Detection) or Batch Count Modes as an option. Other options include a Spare Parts Kit, a Low Product Detect Sensor Assembly, and Standard Feeder installation.
