Project Scope: The revised proposed system consists of a Multifeeder Technology MFT 350 V Signature Series Friction Feeder to feed backer cards along with an ADT 350 Automatic Drop Table to add to your existing MFT 350 Industrial Performance friction feeder to feed batches of products into the in feed of your existing wrapping machine. The MFT 350 V Signature Series friction feeder will be straddle mounted by the customer and will gently separate your backer cards from a vertical stack of the in feed hopper of the feeder. As the products are fed, they will be transported individually through the 200mm (7.87") long discharge of the feeder and will be fed into the flighted in feed of your existing wrapping machine at a rate of up to 50 per minute. Your existing MFT 350 IP ED Friction Feeder with 200mm (7.87") extended discharge will be returned to Multifeeder to be updated to have a XED 375 (14.76") Discharge and Dual Vacuum Track Assemblies each consisting of a vacuum chamber and a feed belt with holes that travel over the chamber to allow the feeder to best grip the products as they are fed. The feeder will also gently separate your products from the an inclined stack in the in feed magazine of the feeder and will transfer the product one at a time onto the 375mm (14.76") extended discharge. Passive static control consists of static string mounted on the top and bottom of the feeder discharge to reduce static on the products as they are fed and are transferred into the drop table one at a time where they will be stacked and accumulated. The feeder and drop table combination will be mounted onto a HDSR 1000-350 Stand on roller for height adjustment and mobility. The feeder and drop table combination will be signaled to feed a stack of product into the flighted in feed of the wrapping machine by an existing Photo Optic Start Sensor Assembly. A Spare Parts Kit is included in this proposal. Multifeeder's Engineering team will create a system drawing for customer approval. System Integration includes a Factory Acceptance Test to verify system performance before shipment. System Integration and testing includes testing of all individual pieces to perform as one complete system. Integration also includes testing of the feeding performance of each product size at the rate specified. A detailed set up video will be created showing step by step how to set up and operate the equipment with each of the different samples provided at the rates specified prior to shipment. This proposal assumes that the customer will mount, install, and integrate the feeder with the wrapping machine. Multifeeder can provide mounting, installation, and integration services as an option at our standard rates. Options Available: An optional APL 2000-290 Automatic Product Loader can be used to allow for an optimum stack height in the in feed magazine of the feeder and for increased in feed magazine capacity. The MFT 350 V Signature Series Friction feeder can be configured with Multiple Product Detection (Double Detection) or Batch Count Modes as an option. An optional Electronic Interface Box Assembly can be used to signal the wrapping machine to stop if the feeder runs empty or has a fault. Other options include a Spare Parts Kit, a Low Product Detect Sensor Assembly, and Standard Feeder installation. Commission = .15 * (Commissionable items)= .15 * $ 29,543.00- ($ 295.00 - $ 995.00- 1,633.00-$ 1,995.00) (Static - System Drawing- vacuum pump- upgrade of existing feeder) = .15 * 26,620.00 =$ 3,993.00
