Project Scope: The proposed system consists of an MFT IP 550XLD Industrial Performance Friction Feeder to separate and feed your products from a stack in the in feed hopper of the feeder. As the products are fed they will be transported through the discharge of the feeder. The discharge belts have the ability to be adjusted along the width of the unit to allow room for your existing laser print system. As the products exit the discharge of the feeder they will be accumulated in the IMCT 550 Catch Tray. A sensor will be mounted in the catch tray to determine a stack high level, and pause the feeder for the product to be removed. The system will be mounted onto an extruded mounting stand. The feeder will be equipped with a stack light with alarm to alert the operator of machine status. A J3 signal interface cable will allow the feeder to suppress the start of the machine. The feeder will complete the current batch it is feeding and then it will pause if the J3 port is activated. The APL 1000-480 Automatic Product Loader will provide increased loading capacity to the system. The Reject Assembly will consist of mechanics only no controls or tracking. The controls and tracking will be done by the end customer. Optional items: Signal Interface Cable to get status of the feeder (requires splitter cable if it will be used with the start sensor), High Performance for greater speed capability.
