Project Scope: The proposed system consists of a Multifeeder Technology MFT 250 V ED Signature Series Friction Feeder with Card line Software to feed CR 80 Cards and Hang Tags up to 200mm (7.87") wide onto your existing card line at a rate of up to 300 per minute. The MFT 250 Friction Feeder will gently separate your CR 80 cards up to 200mm (7.87") wide from a vertical stack of the in feed hopper of the feeder. As the products are fed, they will be transported individually through the 200mm (7.87") long discharge of the feeder. Left and Right Discharge Side Guides will be used to hold the guides to ensure that each product is straight as it is fed. The MFT 250 feeder will also be equipped with the latest version of software including the Card Line Software to allow the feeder to interface with the Profold controller via the serial port. As the speed of the base machine changes the card line software package varies the speed and timing of the feeder to ensure that the CR 80 card is placed accurately regardless of the speed of the base machine. The feeder will be equipped with Multiple Product Detection (Double Detection. Options Available: The feeder can be signaled to feed and can provide back feeder status using a Standard Interface Cable Assembly. Other options include a Low Product Sensor Assembly, a spare parts kit, and standard feeder installation.
