Project Scope: The proposed system consists of an MFT IP 250XED Industrial Performance Friction Feeder and to separate and feed your products from a stack in the in feed hopper of the feeder. Once a base product is detected by the start sensor the feeder will use the Continuous Accutipping Controller with encoder feedback for accurate product placement. The feeder will be mounted by MyCard over their existing base. The proposed system also consists of an MFT v 250XED Signature Series Friction Feeder with Backer Repeat Mode to separate and feed your base product from a stack in the in feed hopper of the feeder. The feeder will be started and stopped by the operator on the control panel of the feeder. Once started the feeder will feed the product in continuous mode. The feeder will be equipped with discharge side guiding to register the product in the discharge of the feeder as they are transported through the system. The feeder will be mounted by MyCard over their existing base. Optional items: - High Performance for speeds beyond 300 products per minute (Mag Stripe Reading speed is still estimated at 150 products per minute) - Relay interface box to stop your conveyor if the feeder stops feeding - Pressure Roller Assembly to transfer the product from the feeder to the base product - HDSR 1000-350 Heavy Duty Stand on Rollers for height adjustment and mobility. - Mag Stripe Reader: As the products are fed through the discharge of the feeder they will be scanned with a Mag Stripe Reader (RS 232). The data from the Mag Stripe will be sent to your existing controller via RS 232. The maximum speed when using the Mag Stripe is estimated at 150 products per minute but can vary depending on the number of tracks read. - Conveyor Straddle Mount Assembly for inline mounting of the feeder over your existing base. - MFT v 350XED Signature Series Friction Feeder to allow you to feed products up to 300mm wide. - An HD 425 Product Support Curve Assembly will provide support to the product stack in the in feed hopper of the feeder.
