Project Scope: This proposal is for a Multifeeder Technology MFT 350 IP XED Friction Feeder system count and drop stacks of product into the in feed of your existing wrapping machine at a rate of up to 50 batches of 10 per minute. The MFT 350 IP Friction Feeder will gently separate your products from a vertical stack of the in feed hopper of the feeder. As the products are fed, they will be transported individually through the 375mm (14.76") long discharge of the feeder and will be transferred one at a time into an ADT 350 Automatic Drop Table where they will be stacked and accumulated in a pre-selected count with the bar codes facing up. Dual Vacuum Track Assemblies each consisting of a vacuum chamber and a feed belt with holes that travels over the chamber will be used to allow the feeder to best grip the products as they are fed. An existing customer-supplied and integrated bar code verification system will be used to read the bar codes on the product and store the sequence of codes for the batch in the computer controller as they travel on the feeder discharge. The bar code reader will supply the feeder with a closed contact via the Low Product port on the feeder to signal the feeder to stop if a "No Read" or Bad Read" and will declare a fault. The feeder drop table combination will be signaled to drop a completed stack into the in feed of an existing wrapping machine by your existing controller via a Standard Interface Cable Assembly (closed contact). Once the drop table releases a completed stack, it will return to its closed position and will signal the feeder to replenish the drop table with a new stack. The feeder and drop table system will be mounted onto a HDSR 1000-350 Stand on Rollers for height adjustment and mobility. Mechanical Engineering will create a system drawing for customer approval. System Integration includes a Factory Acceptance Test to verify system performance before shipment. System Integration and testing includes testing of all individual pieces to perform as one complete system. Integration also includes testing of the feeding performance of each product size at the rate specified. A detailed set up video will be created showing step by step how to set up and operate the equipment with each of the different samples provided at the rates specified prior to shipment. Options available: A Photo Optic Start Sensor can be used to signal the feeder to drop a completed stack. The feeder system can be configured with an optional APL 2000-250 Automatic Product Loader (2000mm x 250mm) for increased in feed magazine capacity. Commission calculation: $ 30,653.00 - non commissionable items (vacuum pump) $ 1,222.00 = $ 29,431.00 * .15 = $ 4,414.65- half of discount ( $ 475.00 ) = $ 3,939.65
