Project Scope: The proposed system consists of a Multifeeder Technology MFT 250 IP Industrial Performance friction feeder system to count batches of 4, 10, or 24 Transdermal Pouches into the bucketed in feed of a Bergami cartoning machine at a rate of up to 55 batches of 4 per minute. The MFT 250 IP Friction Feeder will gently separate foil pouches from a vertical stack of the in feed hopper of the feeder. As the products are fed, they will be transported individually through the 375mm (14.76") long discharge of the feeder. The pouches will be transferred one at a time into an ADT 250/350 Automatic Drop Table where they will be stacked an accumulated. The feeder will be equipped with a single Vacuum Track Assembly consisting of a vacuum chamber and a feed belt with holes that travels over the chamber to allow the feeder to best grip the pouches as they are fed. The feeder drop table combination will be signaled to drop a completed stack by the Bergami using a Standard Interface Cable Assembly. The feeder system will be mounted onto a HDSR 1000-250 Heavy Duty Stand on Rollers with 600mm (W) x 795mm (L) base that will be docked to the Bergami for additional stability with an operating height of 34". This proposal assumes that the customer will be responsible for the installation and integration of the feeder with the Bergami cartoning machine. Multifeeder can provide installation and integration services at our standard rate as an option. Mechanical Engineering will create a system drawing for customer approval. System Integration includes a Factory Acceptance Test to verify system performance before shipment. System Integration and testing includes testing of all individual pieces to perform as one complete system. Integration also includes testing of the feeding performance of each product size at the rate specified. A detailed set up video will be created showing step by step how to set up and operate the equipment with each of the different samples provided at the rates specified prior to shipment. Recommended option: An optional APL 2000-250 Automatic Product Loader (2000mm x 250mm) will be used to allow for an optimum stack height in the in feed magazine of the feeder and for increased in feed magazine capacity. Other options include a Spare Parts Kit, A Low Product Detect Sensor Assembly, and Standard Feeder Installation.
