Project Scope: The proposed system consists of two Multifeeder Technology MFT 250 V XED Friction Feeder system to feed circular labels up to 200mm (7.87") wide onto roll of duck tape as they travel below on a puck conveyor at a rate of up to 60 feet per minute correlating to up to 120 products per minute. The feeder will gently separate the circular sheets onto the 375mm (14.76") extended discharge of the feeder. The MFT 250 will be Straddle Mounted over the conveyor by the customer and will be signaled to feed a label onto the roll of duct tape traveling below by a Photo Optic Start Sensor Assembly. The feeder will be configured with EZ tipping controls consisting of an encoder with wheel mounted on your base machine to monitor its speed. The computer timing compensation package will vary the speed and timing of the feeder to ensure that the insert is placed accurately regardless of the speed of the base machine. A Factory Acceptance Test will be performed at Multifeeder Technology to verify feeder performance before shipment. Any feeder training done at Multifeeder at the time of the test is free of charge. Options available: As an optional estimated start up assistance with at least 2 weeks notice can be purchase for your Avon, OH and/or Sunny Point, NC locations. An optional Electronic Interface Box can be used to signal the conveyor to stop if the feeder runs empty or has a fault. Other options include a Spare Parts Kit, A Low Product Detect Sensor Assembly, and Standard Feeder Installation.
