Project Scope: The proposed system consists of an MFT IP 350XED Industrial Performance Friction Feeder to separate and feed your products into your existing flighted in feed conveyor. The feeder will be signaled to feed if a product is present in the flighted conveyor by a start sensor mounted over your existing line. Once a product is detected the feeder will feed a sheet into the flighted spacing onto the Catch Tray. The product that is in the catch tray will then be removed by the passing lugs. The feeder will be mounted onto a HDSR 1000-350 Heavy Duty Stand on Rollers for height adjustment and mobility either at the end of your conveyor or 90 degrees to your conveyor. Optional items: Vacuum Track Assemblies for increased feeding performance, Vacuum Piab Generator (not including air source) to create vacuum for vacuum tracks. TERMS OF DEMO: Jim: Please find attach the PO for $1200.00, to move ahead with the catch tray fabrication for our inserter project. As per our phone discussion we will expect the inserter will run at 99%, or better proficiency, running our product meeting our run standard. Our run standard is 1200 flats an hour, and we will expect a four hour run for the test. We understand that if you meet these standards 50% of the $1200.00, will be deducted from the purchase price of a submitted order. If the test conditions are not met by your machine, the $1200.00 will be refunded per you email that was sent on November 4th.
