Project Scope: The proposed system consists of a Multifeeder Technology APL 2000-250 Automatic Product Loader (2000mm x 250mm) positioned at 90 degrees in respect to your existing Multifeeder Technology MFT 250 Industrial Performance Friction Feeder. The Bobst machine will feed a base sheet, an existing glue machine will apply glue to the base sheet and your existing MFT 250 Industrial Performance Friction feeder serial number 0704-06370 will feed a shampoo sample onto the spot glue surface of the base carrier as it is traveling below. The Automatic Product Loader will be positioned over the mechanical side of the feeder 90 degrees in respect to your existing MFT 250 Industrial Performance Friction feeder. The Automatic Product Loader will be mounted onto two adjustable extruded aluminum legs to allow the height of the loader to be adjusted to be 50 inches high. This proposal includes the 90 degree change parts for the feeder including the left and right side feeder side guides cut and configured to work with the Automatic Product Loader at 90 degrees, and the modified side support bracket for the feeder magazine. A Photo Optic Start Sensor will be mounted in the in feed magazine of the feeder to signal the Automatic Product Loader to replenish the stack once it drops below a preset level. The customer is responsible for the function of the existing feeder. Recommended options for the existing feeder: Multifeeder recommends that the MFT 250 Industrial Performnce Friction Feeder be configured with Dual Vacuum Track Assemblies each consisting of a vacuum chamber and a feed belt with holes that travels over the chamber to allow the feeder to best grip the products as they are fed. We recommend equipping the feeder with 50% gearing so the discharge section travels 50% faster than the feeder belt section to allow the feeder to further separate the liquid pouches as they travel on the feeder discharge. We recommend that the feeder be equipped with Continuous Motion Accutipping Controls consisting of an encoder mounted to the base machine to monitor its speed. The computer compensation package of the feeder will adjust the speed and timing of the second stage so that the feeder will transfer the product onto the spot glued surface of the base product traveling below accurately regardless of its speed.
