Project Scope: The proposed system consists of an MFT IP 550ED Industrial Performance Friction Feeder to feed your base paperboard products from a stack in the in feed hopper. The base product will be fed onto the VTC 4000-550 Vacuum Track Conveyor with regenerative vacuum blower where they will be transported through the system. As the product passes beneath the Hot Melt Glue System glue will be applied to the base product to secure the tip on (cold glue system to be provided by and integrated by Precision Finishing). The tip on will be accuratly placed by the MFT IP 350ED Industrial Performance Friction Feeder using the Contiuous Accutipping Controller with encoder feedback along with the Driven Discharge section for great placement accuracy. Typical accuracy that can be acheived is +/-.5mm @ 20MPM, +/- .75mm @ 40 MPM, and +/- 1mm at 60 MPM. Product will be square regardless of speed. Side-to-Side accuracy will be +/- .5mm for all speeds. Accuracies based on samples provided and approved by Multifeeder Technology, the equipment being operated and maintained by trained personnel in accordance with the applicable Operating and Maintenance Manual, for good quality product. A second VTC with a length of 3000mm will be inline with the first VTC and allow for product to have secondary operations such as labeling (labeler not provided in this quotation), folding and other finishing work. The finished product will be accumualted onto a shingling conveyor. Performance Guarantee: For samples provided in quantity with the order and tested at the Factory Acceptance test, the following is applicable: 1) The Accuracy the system is capable of is +/-.5mm @ 20MPM, +/- .75mm @ 40 MPM, and +/- 1mm at 60 MPM. Faster Line speeds would have a larger tolerance window. 2) Poor quality product or damaged will be removed from the calculations of accuracy and uptime. 3) The line will be deemed accepted with a successful run of 8 continuous hours with a minimum of 90% uptime. Downtime for reasons outside Multifeeder's control will not count against downtime of the equipment (such as power loss/outtage). 4) Upon acceptance of the line, the remaining system payment balance will be due within 30 days. 5) If the line is not accepted within 3 days after installation, Multifeeder Technology, may choose to take the system back and return all moneys to Graphic Technologies less shipping cost and installation cost or repair any issue which is preventing the system from being accepted. 6) Operators on the system will be trained personnel, running the equipment in accordance with the applicable Multifeeder manual, with good quality product. The equipment will be maintained in accordance with the applicable maintenance and operating manual. 7) For each product that is guaranteed, a 2 hour FAT product run must be performed at Multifeeder. Customer sign off is manditory prior to shipment. The system will only be guaranteed to perform the same as the FAT on the customer site.
